On Feb. 2nd-5th, 2023 Jack Daniels and Llelu competed in UKC conformation shows in Pine City, MN hosted by Apple Blossom Kennels! Jack Daniels was only entered on the 3rd, and he was reserve champion in the first show and then he was Champion of Champions, Best of Breed, and second in the herding group in show two! Thank you judge Mary Ellen Meyer! Llelu was entered the other 3 days and was awarded champion of champions in two shows finishing her UKC Grand Championship! She also was Best of Breed in one show! Thank you judges Tracie Karsjens and Mary Murphy-East on these wins! She went from the classes to Grand Champion in only four show weekends, being the only white German Shepherd competing at these shows. To say we are proud is an understatement!
On March 20th, 2023, we confirmed via ultrasound, that Llelu is expecting her next litter, due May 22nd! The sire is a beautiful, happy-go-lucky black sable; UKC CH Tanqueray von Katzel! We will accept a couple more reservations for this litter! Thank you to his breeder and owners on allowing us to use Tanq! We are so excited for this litter!

On April 13th, we received another great report from OFA! Our bred by boy, UKC CH Faithful's Hope from Heaven ("Augie") co-owned by the Viswanathan family, has OFA certified Good hips and Normal elbows!
And last but not least....
Jack Daniels was entered into conformation and rally obedience events at the UKC Minnesota Spring Cluster in Hutchinson, MN hosted by the United German Shepherd Dog Alliance, SISU Dog Sporting Club, and Whispering Echos Farm on April 22nd-23rd. He was reserve champion twice, and was Champion of Champions, Best of Breed, and WON a HUGE Herding Group 1! He also qualified in all four rally obedience trials, earning his URO1 rally title! These wins in conformation and rally also earned his first two TOTAL DOG AWARDS!!!! Great job JD! Thank you judges Dawn Fisher, Valerie Piltz, Mary Ellen Meyers, and Lila Fast for these wins!
