Clubs

German Shepherd Dog Club of America : We are proud to members of the GSDCA. This is the parent club of the German Shepherd breed since 1913.

American Kennel Club : the American Kennel Club recognized the German Shepherd Dog in 1908. We register all of our litters with the AKC.

United Kennel Club : the United Kennel Club recognized the German Shepherd Dog in 1924. All of our litters are registerable with the UKC. We really love UKC's Total Dog philosophy.

The German Shepherds Dog Club of Minneapolis and St. Paul: this is a breed club in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. We are new members and we have had a lot of fun and success with this club!

Other Links

Orthopedic Foundation for Animals : We use OFA to evaluate the joint conformation on all of our potential breeding dogs to screen for hip and elbow dysplasia. We also use OFA for DNA testing, such as for Degenerative Myelopathy. The OFA keeps an online public database of evaluations, which is a great tool for breeders.

Washington State University Veterinary Clinical Pharmacology Lab : We use this lab for MDR-1 testing on all of our breeding dogs.

Veterinary DNA Diagnostic Center : We use the DDC for color testing on our dogs, and DNA testing for Degenerative Myelopathy.

Pedigree Database : We use this database to research pedigrees, which is essential to responsible breeding. In combination with the OFA, a lot of knowledge can be attained by studying the lineage of purebred dogs.

University of MN, Veterinary Medical Center : We are proud to work with the U of MN, VMC to provide the best care possible to our dogs. Our dogs have also been enrolled in a number of studies led by the university's clinical investigation center to examine their joints, movement, and even their DNA to gather more information which will hopefully provide insight to benefit both dogs and people in the future.
