 Jack Daniels' conformation career!

Jack Daniels is a stunning, big-boned, exuberant boy that we are excited to present to the fancy! He combines the solid, strong, and yet elegant structure of his dam with the grace and fluidity of motion from his sire. He has effortless movement and carries himself with pride. He sometimes appears "bouncy" in the ring due to his happiness which we are working on! It's really hard to correct prancing when he's so happy about it! 😊

On August 23rd-25th, Kelly showed Jack Daniels at St. Croix Valley Kennel Club shows in Lake Elmo, MN. He won his class a couple times and then on Sunday took a major reserve! This was his biggest win to date with over 20 class males! Very proud of this young dog! 

On June 20th and 21st, Jack Daniels danced with Kelly again at AKC shows in Cambridge, MN. On Thursday he went reserve winners dog! 

On May 25th-26th, JD was piloted by his friend Kelly in the Am. Bred class at AKC shows in St. Peter, MN. No love for him in conformation this weekend but he passed his cardiac exam and also earned his Rally Novice title! Good boy! 

On May 4th-5th, 2024, JD strutted his way to 2 wins in the grand champion class, 2 Best of Breeds, and a WON a huge HERDING GROUP! These wins completed the requirements for his EMERALD GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP! He also won 2 total dog awards for his successes in the breed ring along with his Q’s in rally obedience! 

On April 27th, 2024, Jack Daniels ventured into the IABCA world of conformation dog shows in Hutchinson, MN at the McLeod County Fairgrounds. He earned 3 V-1 ratings from 3 different judges, as well as a Herding Group 1, a Bred-By Exhibitor Herding Group 1, a Bred-By Herding Group 2, and a RESERVE BEST IN SHOW BRED BY EXHIBITOR! Very proud of this young man! 

On April 20th and 21st, 2024, Jack Daniels competed in AKC conformation at the Mason City Kennel Club shows in Mason City, IA. He was winners dog and best of winners both days for his first points towards his AKC championship! And we couldn’t be prouder of how well he performed for his friend Kelly! Thank you Kelly for your excellence in presenting him so well!

On September 30th, 2023, JD was entered into one day of UKC shows in Hugo, MN hosted by the Northern Lights American Eskimo Dog Association. He won back to back BEST IN SHOWS! Thank you so much judges Diana and Joseph Allen! 

On September 8th-10th, Jack Daniels was entered into 6 UKC conformation shows in Bemidji, MN hosted by the Paul Bunyan Dog Training Club. In show 1 on Friday, he was Champion of Champions. In the second show on Friday, he was reserve Champion. In the first and second show on Saturday, he was Champion of Champions! In the first show on Sunday, he was Champion of Champions for his 5th and final leg towards his Grand Championsip! Way to go buddy! He then went on to win Best of Breed, Herding Group 1, and then BEST IN SHOW, thank you judge Lila Fast!!!! We couldn't be prouder!!! Thank you so much to all the judges who pointed at him!!! 

 On Aug. 25th-27th, Jack Daniels was entered into AKC conformation shows hosted by the St. Croix Valley Kennel Club in Stillwater, MN. He was entered into Owner Handler on Friday and Saturday and then on Sunday, he was entered into the 15-18 class and went first in his class all three days! It was excellent show experience for him, especially since he got to be shown by his handler, Kelly for the first time on Sunday! He did such a great job! Thank you Kelly!!!

On April 22nd-23rd, 2023 at UKC conformation shows in Hutchinson, MN hosted by the UGSDA, Jack Daniels was entered into the Champion class. In show one on Saturday, he was reserve champion. He was not selected in show two. On Sunday in show one he was reserve champion again. In show two he was Champion of Champions, Best of Breed, and first in a HUGE herding group of 17 breeds! So proud of this 11 month old boy! Thank you to judges MaryEllen Meyer, Valerie Piltz, and Lila Fast! 

At UKC conformation shows in Pine City, MN hosted by Apple Blossom Kennels, Jack Daniels was entered into conformation shows on February 3rd! He was reserve champion in the first show, and then Champion of Champions in the second show where he was also awarded Best of Breed and second in a very large herding group! Thank you Judge Mary Ellen Meyer! 

On Dec 30th-Jan 1st, JD was entered in 6 conformation shows in Pine City, MN hosted by Apple Blossom Kennels. On Friday, JD was first in his class and reserve best male in both shows. On Saturday, he was first in his class, Best Male and Best of Winners in both shows, and in show 2 he also went on to win BEST OF BREED and FIRST in the HERDING GROUP(of 14 breeds)!!! This also completed his UKC CHAMPIONSHIP! Huge accomplishment for this 7 month old! On Sunday we moved him up to the Champion class, where he was reserve champion in the first show! Incredible weekend!!! 

On November 25th-27th, Jack Daniels was entered in 6 UKC conformation shows in Pine City, MN hosted by Apple Blossom Kennels. He won his class all 6 shows! On Friday, he was reserve best male both shows. On Saturday, he was Best male in the first show! On Sunday, he was reserve best male in the first show, and Best male in the second show! 

His next show, the first time out as a "big boy" was at an AKC show on November 19th, 22 at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, MN. We only entered him one day due to performance events we had planned the next day. He did very well, winning his class of 6-9 month male! Very good boy JD! He loved his ribbon LOL

His first conformation shows were when he was just a baby! He showed in the novice puppy classes at UKC conformation shows hosted by the SISU Dog Sporting Club in Chisholm, MN on July 23rd-24th, 2022. He took best of breed novice puppy all four shows, as well as Best In Show Novice Puppy in 3 shows, and Reserve Best In Show Novice Puppy in one show! Great job little man!!
