Jack Daniels' Performance Career! 

On May 25th-26th, 2024 at AKC shows in St. Peter, MN hosted by the Key City Kennel Club, JD earned his 2nd and 3rd legs to finish his Rally Novice title!!! 

On May 4th-5th, 2024, JD was entered into UKC rally obedience trials in Hutchinson, MN hosted by Whispering Echos Farm. He was entered into 4 trials, but we skipped his fourth so we could get home. He earned 3 out of 3 Q’s and second place twice! Along with his wins in conformation those days, he also earned 2 total dog awards! 

On April 20th, 2024, JD earned his first leg towards his AKC rally novice title at the Mason City Kennel Club shows in Mason City, IA! He was also entered on Sunday, but we skipped this run in order to make it home at a decent time(it had been a long day of conformation too). It had been a long time since practicing rally so we are very happy with how well he did! He scored a 92 and fourth place out of his class of 10! Good boy Jack Daniels!

On September 8th-10th, at UKC shows in Bemidji, MN hosted by the Paul Bunyan Dog Training Club, JD was entered into UKC Rally level 2 and he qualified in the first three trials with scores of 94, 94, and 95 to complete his URO2! We barely prepared for this level of rally, so we were very pleased with how well Jack Daniels worked throughout the courses and a stumbling handler! In the remaining 3 trials that weekend, we moved him up to level 3 and he qualified in all three trials to finish his URO3!!! Couldn't believe he did so well his first weekend in off-leash heeling! We are so proud of him!!! These successes this weekend along with his wins in conformation lead him to earning 3 total dog awards, and a TOTAL DOG BEST IN SHOW!!!

Jack Daniels makes his debut in UKC rally obedience as his first venture into performance! This is his first of hopefully many successes in performance events! On April 22nd-23rd 2023, he was entered into UKC Rally level 1 and earned 4/4 qualifying scores in novice B! Thank you to Whispering Echos Farm and to our rally judge, Dawn Fisher for such fun trials! These Q's completed his URO1 title and along with his conformation successes this weekend, he also earned his first two TOTAL DOG AWARDS. This event was a regional qualifier so he also received his invite to the Total Dog Invitational at the end of the year!
