Congratulations to Hope!

On December 1st, 2018 at UKC shows in Minneapolis, MN hosted by the UGSDA, Hope won champion of champions twice to finish her GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP! She also won a Best of Breed and Herding group 2! Good girl, Hope! 

Congratulations to Promise!!!

Great news! Promise passes her OFA(Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) hip and elbow certifications with results of "Good" hips and "Normal" elbows! 

 

In addition to receiving this news from OFA, Promise becomes a 3rd generation CHIC! The parent club requires hips and elbows to be screened for dysplasia and also requires the dog to pass a temperament test. Since Promise was screened for hip and elbow disease and passed her TC, she completes the requirements for her CHIC recognition! Just like her sire, Major, and paternal granddam, Pixel! Wooohooo!

September Successes!

We had some fun accomplishments from a few of our dogs in the month of September, 2018! On September 15th Walker earned his Canine Good Citizen title from AKC! On the same day, Promise earned her TKN(Novice Trick Title) from AKC! On the 22nd and 23rd, "Arnold," a dog from our Major x Pieta 2016 litter owned and loved by Caroline and William, debuted in UKC conformation and won best male all four shows, best of winners twice, a best of breed, and a herding group 2! He is close to his championship in just one weekend! Good dogs!

January 4th, 2008 - July 15th, 2018. 

It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we share the news of Major's passing. He holds a very special place in our hearts and always will. We are comforted only with the blessing of having so many kids of his in our lives and the joy of knowing we will see him again in our true home in Heaven. We hold you in our hearts, Moomoo, as the Lord holds you in his arms. 

Promise earns her TC!!!

On June 23rd, 2018, at a German Shepherd Dog Club of America temperament test hosted by the German Shepherd Dog Club of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Promise earned her Temperament Certified title! She was excellent at every station of the test...we are so proud!! Good job baby girl! 

Hope turns 1 year old!

On June 2nd, 2018, Hope turned one year old! Happy birthday baby girl! 

Walker turns 1 year old!

On May 1st, 2018, Walker celebrated his first birthday! Happy Birthday baby boy! He is just starting to look like an adult dog now. We are really liking how he is maturing!

Promise and Hope have a very successful weekend of conformation!!!

On March 31st-April 1st we showed Hope and Promise in UKC conformation shows hosted by the United German Shepherd Dog Alliance at the Twin Cities Obedience Training Club in Minneapolis, MN.

Promise finished her Grand Championship in the first show on Saturday winning Champion of Champions. She moved up to the Grand Champion class and won it in the second show on Saturday! She showed beautifully and we are so proud of her performance and improvement in the breed ring...she's learning to pull out in front of me without racing too quickly. Good girlie! She always has so much fun! Promise finished her Grand Championship at the young age of 17 months!

Hope showed in the puppy female class for her first time out in the licensed classes. She was a star! On Saturday, she won her class both shows, best female both shows, best of winners both shows, and Best of Breed, and Herding Group 2 in the second show!! On Sunday, she won her class both shows, reserve best female in show 1, and best female in show two to finish her championship(there were no males for best of winners on Sunday)!!! She finished in one weekend just like daddy Major! So proud of this amazing start to such a young girl! She's only 10 months old!

Major earns his CD at 10 years of age!

Major and I had an exciting weekend on February 24th-25th! We competed in Novice A Obedience in three trials(2 trials on Saturday in Lake Elmo, MN hosted by the GSDCMSP and 1 trial on Sunday hosted by the MKC in Minneapolis, MN). In all three trials he earned a Q and first place! So proud of him in the new venue we tried! With these three qualifying scores, he earned his companion dog(CD) title! Woohoo!
