Major has been a very successful conformation dog! He started showing in conformation when he was 4 months old and now at 9 years old, he is semi-retired. He has always enjoyed showing so I'm sure that he isn't done showing yet, but right now he is enjoying running and playing at home. Below we will share some of the many special memories of Major's successes in the show ring.

- At UKC shows in Minneapolis, MN on December 2nd-3rd hosted by the United German Shepherd Dog Alliance, Major had a very incredible weekend in conformation! He won the Grand Champion class, Best of Breed, Best of Breed Veteran, and Best Veteran in show all four shows! He also won a group 2, 2 group 1s, and 2 Best in Show wins!!! What a memorable weekend!!
- At UKC shows in Minneapolis, MN on September 23rd-24th hosted by the Northern Lights American Eskimo Dog Association, Major had a blast in conformation! He won the grand champion class in 3 of 4 shows, Best of Breed in 3 of 4 shows, a group 2, 3, and 4, and also won Best of breed veteran and Best in Show veteran all four shows. He picked up quite a few top ten points this weekend!
- At UKC shows in Minneapolis, MN on April 1st-2nd 2017, Major played in conformation and boy did he have fun! He won the Grand Champion class 3 out of 4 shows, Best of Breed 3 out of 4 shows, 2 group 1's, a group 2, and a Reserve Best in Show!!! He also won Best of Breed Veteran 4 out of 4 shows, and Best Veteran in Show twice! photos to come!
At UKC shows in Minneapolis, MN on November 28th-29th 2015, we decided to take Major out of retirement and let him play in conformation! He won Best Veteran in Multi-Breed Show in 3 out of 4 shows. He also won 2 Best of Breeds, a Group 1, and a BEST IN MULTI-BREED SHOW!! This is his 5th UKC Best in Show to date!!!
In April of 2013 at UKC shows in St. Paul, MN, Major won the Grand Champion class, Best of Breed, and Group 1!!!
At UKC shows in September of 2012 in St. Paul, MN, Major won Best of Breed twice, a group 2, a group 1, and a Reserve Best in Multi-Breed Show!!!

In September of 2010, at UKC shows in St. Paul, MN, Major won the Grand Champion class all four shows, 2 Best of Breeds, a group 2 and a group 1!
In August of 2010, at UKC shows in Glencoe, MN, Major won a Grand Champion class as well as a Best of Breed.
In July of 2010, in Richmond, Indiana, Major was invited to compete in the Top Ten competition at the UKC Premier. He was given the Award of Excellence!!!
In May, 2010 in Gilbert, MN UKC shows, Major won a Grand Champion class, Best of Breed, and a Group 1!
In April 2010 in St. Paul, MN UKC shows, Major won the Grand Champion class, Best of Breed, Group 1, and his 3rd Best in Multi-Breed Show!!! Good boy! He also won the Grand Champion class all four shows in another weekend in April.
In December 2009, in Elk River, MN, Major had a huge weekend in UKC! He won the Grand Champion class all four shows, Best of Breed 3 times, and 3 group 1sts!!!
In November, 2009, Major was entered in IABCA International shows in Hutchinson. He earned 4, V-1 ratings, 2 Best of Breeds, and 2 group 2nds! This gave him his International Championship!
In September 2009, Major won the champion class twice, 2 Best of Breed wins, and 2 firsts in group! This finished his UKC Grand Championship!!!
In August 2009, Major was entered in UKC shows in Glencoe, MN and wins a Champion class for a another leg towards his Grand.
Major had a great weekend in Lake Elmo, Minnesota where he earned 2 wins towards his UKC Grand Championship, one reserve champion and his 2nd Best in Multi-Breed Show!
Major's very first weekend at UKC dog shows in March of 2009. At a year old, he showed beautifully and earned his UKC conformation championship title in just one weekend of shows. In show 1 on Saturday he took Best Male and Best of Winners. In show 2, he earned reserve best male. In show 1 on Sunday he earned, Best Male, Best of Winners, Best of Breed, Group 1, and Best in Multi-Breed Show! In show 2 he earned Best Male, Best of Winners, Best of Breed, and Group 2!!! What a weekend!!! New Champion!!!
In November of 2009, Major showed at AKC shows in Shakopee, MN. He won the novice class both days, and on Saturday he took Reserve Winners, and on Sunday, he took Winners Dog for his first points towards his AKC Championship. Good boy Major!!!
In July of 2009, Major showed in Duluth, MN AKC shows. He showed really well and won his class all three days!
In February of 2009, Major competed in WGSDCA Stock Dog conformation shows in Burnsville, MN. This was his first win towards his SD Championship!
In September of 2008, Major was entered in WGSDCA shows at Tails Up Dog Training in Burnsville, MN. There were three shows, and he won his class all three shows, and also went on to win Best Stock Dog Petite Puppy all three shows!
At his very first conformation shows in June of 2008 in Eveleth, MN, Major was entered in the WGSDCA Stock Dog Petite Puppy class and earned a 3rd and a 2nd place.
