Pieta's performance career

Pieta has been by far our easiest dog to train. She is very smart, picks up commands really quickly, and retains what she learns. I rarely have to repeat a training exercise once she learns all the steps. She is new to the show world, but isn't new to working and living day to day as an obedient member of our family. We hope to show her more to prove what we already know. Below are her performance achievements.

In March of 2016, Pieta earned her Intermediate Trick Dog Title(ITD)!

In January of 2016, Pieta earned her Novice Trick Dog Title(NTD)!

In April of 2015 at UKC rally trials in Minneapolis, MN, Pieta qualified in all four trials, and scored 100 points in each trial!! Amazing weekend and 4 bonus rally legs!

In June of 2014 at UKC rally trials in Le Sueur, MN, Pieta qualified in all four trials with scores of 96(fourth place), 100(first place and HIGH IN TRIAL!!!), 99(fourth place), and 95, earning her URO1 title her first weekend out!!! Not bad for never seeing a rally course before! Great Job P!!!

In June of 2019, Pieta was introduced the task of cattle herding/driving! This came especially easy to her and it was a joy to see a natural instinct come alive! Pieta loves being in the field with the cows and she truly loves working them! Pieta will be an important dog to have around when we vaccinate and load cattle! She has no fear of getting in there with the cows and using her voice and teeth to get them moving; cattle can be stubborn and can inflict serious injury so having a confident, capable, yet careful dog to work with is very important. GREAT job Pieta!!!
